Our credit unions encourage their members to save regularly to make the most of their money. There is no minimum amount you have to save and you can choose to save as little or as often as you please. There are several ways to save – via local collection points, by direct debit, standing order or by having money deducted directly from your wages.
Credit unions are members of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme established under the financial services act 2002. In respect of deposits with a UK office, payments under the scheme are limited to 100% of the first £85,000. This may be subject to change. Please visit www.fscs.org.uk for the latest details.
